Description
Horse Box GWR 604
In the mid-20th century, the UK railway network was used to transport a large number of horses, mainly those travelling between race meetings but also private, circus and military horses. This example is a Great Western Railway Horsebox that would have been used mainly in the South West but would have also travelled further afield.
