Description

The Bentley State Limousine is an official state car which Bentley produced in 2002 on the occasion of Her Majesty the Queen’s Golden Jubilee the same year. There are only two in existence, both belonging to the Queen and housed in the Royal Mews, making it arguably the rarest car in the world.

The Bentley has a mount on its roof for an illuminated Royal coat-of-arms and the Royal Standard. When the Queen is on board, the Bentley “Flying B” bonnet mascot is replaced by the Queen’s personal mascot of Saint George slaying the dragon or a single standing Lion, which is used when Her Majesty is in Scotland. The limousines are equipped with flashing blue lights, two in the grille and two on the front bumper. There is no registration plate on the Bentley State Limousine. And like all the Royal state limousines, the colour scheme is Black over Royal Claret. An interesting detail is that in January 2009, it was announced that both Bentley State Limousines would be converted to run on biofuel.

This 1:76 scale model is just over 8cm in length comes on a plinth. It is a great gift to give to any one who loves the Royal Family, or loves Bentleys. This vehicle can also be found in the7 Piece Royal Family Set.

The development of this Bentley took some years. as to get measurements was painstaking. We show here some CAD from the development process.
