PROTOTYPE
A Midland RC&WCo. built tank wagon, one of five built in 1927 and registered with the LMS. Tarmac Ltd were based in Wolverhampton, the company was founded in 1903 and produced road surfacing and heavy building materials. A handful of these tank wagons wouldn’t look out of place on a any N Gauge layout!
